For some the efficiency of outsourcing day-to-day warehouse operations outweighs the need to provide those services with in-house personnel and equipment. Cal Cartage can provide all the major warehousing functions in your facility without the headaches and liabilities of personnel, purchasing, equipment, and maintenance. We operate your facility under your rules and schedules, but with our people.
Public
We offer public warehousing in several locations nationwide. All of these locations are fully integrated with our WMS and Deconsolidation softwares. Most locations are also RFID equipped. If you need standard pallet storage or more sophisticated gravity fed racking, we provide all the necessary services for any industrial and retail commodities. We pride ourselves in safely housing your products and providing them to your customers with speed and accuracy.
Cross Dock
All of our facilities have the capability for handling quick-turn transloads. The rapid transfer of freight between modes is key to keeping the supply chain moving. We can transfer between railcars and marine containers, between marine containers and intermodal trailers, or between railcars and trucks. Some of the facilities have side-by-side doors, outdoor freight exchange aprons, or pure crossover docks. We make those transitions between transportation modes seamless and exact.
