K & R Transportation
K&R is a commonly-owned company of California Cartage Company. Its main mission is to perform all the support drayage to our 6 Southern California warehouses from the piers of the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Further, K&R performs minibridge drayage services for the steamship companies and railroads. Dispatching is performed using the Trinium dispatch computer system. Use of this system provides dynamic load status information while keeping close track of deadlines. With over 150 tractor units, K&R is one of the largest trucking presences in the Southern California port area.

K&R is fueled by information utilizing our Trinium Transportation Management System that gives you the power to track containers in real time and receive automated email updates. Trinium monitors free time at the harbor, at the ramp and after delivery to the consignee.

We are proud of our safety record. Our insurance coverage far exceeds government standards. We are C-TPAT compliant and customs bonded. Both the DOT and the California Highway Patrol BIT Program give us their highest ratings.
